Not Again!

On the surface, I have very little in common with The Soprano's. I don't live in New Jersey, have never suffered a panic attack or seen a therapist (although my infatuation with Thing 2 is becoming a little scary), I don't know anyone named "Meadow," and, as far as I know I have never whacked anybody. That said, like The Sopranos, it seems like every time the Random Thoughts begins to gain some momentum, a new episode or post is more difficult to find than an explanation for the disappearance of Mark Prior's talent. Alas...here we go again.

This time it is a trip to Boston for work that will sideline me for a few days. That said, expect a fresh, new RT next Wednesday. Until then you will just have to busy yourself watching reruns of Cheers. I'll be sure to say hello to Sam, Diane and Woody for you.

NOTE: A few people who have bookmarked the RT, have informed me that the page does not automatically update with the newest posts when you open it and you have to hit refresh to get my latest musings (especially in Netscape). Please be aware of this problem. I would hate to see you miss even a single So, I Married An Axe Murderer reference...

Re: technical difficulties....I used to have the same problem - but only at work - until my IT guy told me that the page was being stored in the cache of our server. For RT fans that work for a business large enough to have its own server, this may be the source of your trouble. This problem never occured for me at home, so I believe this is the right answer.

Alternative explanation - in your Internet settings you can set how frequently your computer will look for new content on a page. Under Internet Options, look for the settings relevant to Temporary Internet Files. Make sure the option is set to look for new content on every visit to the page.

It looks like you won’t have Thing 2 to kick around anymore. Apparently Neifi went to Detroit on Sunday in a trade for a t-shirt worn by Eminem during the Family Values tour. Word is Neifi ordered Lou Malanti’s for the clubhouse to thank them for helping get a little closer to a world series ring.

WB’s wife and I went to Lambeau on Saturday for the preseason game. Ok, it’s only preseason, but we got to see the 2 greatest QBs that have ever stepped on to a football field- Farve and Vick. There was magic in the air. So when you see me on the street, yes, you can touch me. Touch me, g@dd@mnit!
