Sorry all. Looks like my start is being pushed back one day due to shoulder soreness, yeah... shoulder soreness. Blame Kerry.
I expect to be back on the hill tomorrow.

As all of my friends know, I have an insane number of random thoughts on the world of sports and pop culture running through my mind at all times. Given that I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that my wife does not care that Lou Piniella made a ridiculous decision to bring Aaron Heilman in to pitch with two-on and two-out in a one-run game or that the Indiana Hoosiers defensive rotation is giving up too many easy baskets, I have chosen this blog as an outlet. I hope you enjoy!!!

What a great transition to discuss our pitching situation...
At least Kerry gives the impression that he's trying to get back to the starting rotation. Mark Prior needs to get off the Midol and work on his work ethic. As much as I HATE Clemens, at least I can say that older pitchers like him are used to working through some discomfort. Even Maddux will pitch through pain (and take it out on a cooler later). As Dave Kaplan said recently, "we are bringing up a generation of wussies" (he didn't use "wussies", and I'm surprized what he did use wasn't censored on the radio). Nonetheless, Cubs are doing well temporarily...
Kerry Wood, meet Jason Grimsley. Jason, please find something to help Kerry's shoulder......
Dusty Baker, meet Ozzie Guillen & Jim Leyland. Ozzie & Jim, please show Dusty how to actually involve himself in managing a game & holding your ballclub accountable for piss poor play.
Jim Hendry, meet Ken Williams. Kenny, give Jim lessons.
Mark Prior, meet your 86mph fastball. 86mph fastball, please tell Mark how it will feel to now be equivalent to any KC Royals starting pitcher.
Can you bring us back a West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx jersey when you get back from rehab??
