- Simply stated, I am a sports nut who will watch any game that is available to me. A buddy once asked, "would you even watch Stony Brook vs. Binghamton if it had an effect on the conference race?" My answer..."I would watch a replay of Stony Brook and Binghamton even if both teams are on probation!" I love a well-executed offense, hitting the cutoff man, and believe in taking a strike. My pet peeves are failing to get a runner home from third with less than two outs, pitchers getting behind in the count, and, of course, when people fly the 'W' flag in violation of the rules...

The Bears should sign Keyshawn - a strong possession receiver who is great in run support. He has better hands than Me-hsin Me-hammed does anyway.
Thank goodness Daniel Snyder is a crazy bastard - he saved the Bears from making a very expensive mistake.
I am wearing navy pants.
Even if the Bulls make the playoffs, it will not prove they are any closer to really being able to compete for the Eastern Conference title. Sometimes winning just masks problems (e.g. 2001 Bears)
Do you think that ESPN will make a movie about Luke Schenscher? After all, he scored more points than the wunderkind last night and showed a lot more effort. Maybe college is not such a bad thing?

More to fill the void…
First the good news from the Cubs training camp- the Cubs lost to the Mariners 4-3 yesterday and nobody got hurt during the game.
Now the bad new: As a CPA, I have learned that there are 3 certainties in life: death, taxes, and Mark Prior’s uncanny ability to get injured. I know, we all knew it was coming, just not so soon (Prior’s injury, not death). Is anybody else concerned about his choice of physician- Dr. Lewis Yocum. Yocum grew up as Sox fan in the Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood. Turn around the car, Mark! I’ll see if we can fit you into my Dad’s clinic. Ok, so my dad isn’t a shoulder doctor- he’s a gastrointestinal doctor. At least he would be able to remove whatever is logged up where the sun don’t shine. Then we can send Prior over to my sister-in-law for some head therapy.

I had some annoying virus on my computer called "internet security 2010" it would give me annoying pop ups adn try to make me buy it also kept played radio clip from different stations(it was so weird one second it was classical the next it was Taylor Swift" and it kept me from googling stuff because when I clicked on the links iit would take me to a site like mickeymousecruises.com. Now I believe I've fixed all that except my search engines still do not work. How do I fix it?
